Charlie Soper

As a guitarist and singer-songwriter, music has always captivated me. It has always been a medium through which one can project emotion, tell stories and invite people into your own perspective.

It allows you to translate feelings of love, hate, pain, hope, elation and desperation, to name just a few, into vibrations in the air. Then someone that you have never met can listen and become lost in the deepest depths of your soul, be taken on a road of trials and frustration, flown to the joyous highs of a whirlwind romance or to reflect on their own choices.

And this is completely subjective and can vary between each any every person. There lives the magic of music, it's so personal and universal, even if we differ in opinion, political or religious beliefs, nationality or are separated by any barriers that stand between us, music is a constant that never fails to bring us together. May it be to dance or cry, mourn or celebrate, music is always there.  

 

 

Therein lies my motivation and my drive to create and perform musically. To bring people together through sound and story.
